The sun rises over Destin as we exit East Pass (top) and head out into the Gulf. I reeled in the snapper above but had to toss him back -- snapper were out of season. I still managed to win the "big fish" competition with a 20-pound grouper despite Wes' One That Got Away. He estimates it was about 500 pounds and might have swamped the boat if he had reeled it in.
